Christmas Town Minialbum for Doodlebug Design

I love mini albums, and I love Christmas, so Christmas mini albums are my ultimate favorite project. If we add Doodlebug to this, the result is simply perfect!

Today I want to share this mini album I made using pics of the Christmas party I throw every year with my friends. I have told you about it on a previous post here.

In this mini I went for a super simple binding with screws, and worked in different levels and types of pages. I really love how dynamic and fun it came out.

I closed the mini with a bow, using some grosgrain ribbon, ribbon never gets old! I also made the cover a bit smaller than the rest of the mini, this way you can see through the pages, I consider it looks great.

As you may know, I love using vellum for writing my journaling on my mini albums, I love the transparency effect. Here I included few vellum pages here and there to tell about the party and document my feelings about it.

Of course, I decorated the page with few diecuts and alphas in coordinating colors.

In some of the pages I cut a big circle and used this as a window to next page, I love the effect! I decorated the page with an insane amount of embellishments and I think this looks cute, what do you think?

Chit Chat packs are a great addition to the decoration of this mini, I love including little phrases here and there, along with photos or even with journaling pages.

With the purpose of making the design more interesting, I created one foldable page, and of course I added more more photos on it, this time about the food. I baked cookies and cupcakes and we had some cold kind of egg knot (I am on south hemisphere and Christmas are in the middle of the summer, so we rather have cold drinks!).

I included two acetate pages just for fun, and put some embellies on them. I love how they add to the mini making it more bulky and interesting.

I covered the binding screws using some kraft cardstock, which I scored to make it more flexible.

I am so happy with how this mini came out, it's simple but filled with little details, just Doodlebug style! I hope you liked it too, if you have any question just leave me a comment.

Have a lovely day!
