Viejito Pacuero for The Paper Variety

I made this layout for the current challenge at The Paper Variety, which consists on including a Christmas ornament on any paper project.

I made this layout last night and it came out almost by itself! I used the fabulous collection Everybody Love Christmas from Echo Park and as inspiration I used the Sketch 131 from GotSketch?

This picture was taken exactly one week ago. We made a short trip to the north of our country and while shopping Christmas presents in a mall my little one saw that Santa was there and the kids could go and have a picture taken with him. Needless to say that my little one was first in line for the picture, LOL!

Here in Chile we call Santa as Viejito Pascuero (Christmas Old Men), and there´s a typical song that little kids sing at playground which says  "Viejito Pascuero acuerdate de mi, me porto bien en casa tambien en el jardin" (Christmas Old Men don't you forget about me, I am good at home and also at the playground). This is where I took my journaling from :)

I cut all the ornaments from the paper, and decorate them with stickers, rhinestones and liquid pearls. I hung them with some pink and white twine. I cut the small letter in glittery foamy using the Harmony alpha from Cuttlebug, and the big letter was cut with the Cricut and Scal, the font is Cafe Rojo. All the papers, stickers and the tiny letters on the bottom are  from the Everybody Love Christmas collection.

I'm so in a Christmas mood, I bet you'll see many more Christmas projects around here these days! :) Thanks for looking!

EDIT: I was chosen as featured project!! I'm so happy :D

I was spotlighted at TPV!
